About Us: Over 70 Years of Combined Manufacturing Experience
Metal Disintegrator and Custom Cut EDM merged in 2016 to form Inventive Manufacturing. We moved into our current Skokie facility to bring both shops’ capabilities together in one location. We chose the name “Inventive” because it describes how we work: creating new solutions, applying original thought, and staying resourceful on difficult manufacturing challenges.
Our Team
Our team is small and deeply experienced. Our shop manager has roughly 50 years of EDM experience and still works on the machines. Our CNC team adds hands-on service to every project.

Our combined history of more than 70 years reflects a steady commitment to quality. We build long-term relationships through close attention to detail and a resourceful approach to metalworking. A Zeiss CNC coordinate measuring machine and optical comparators verify tight tolerances, and we can provide inspection reports for your records.
